wHAT do WE DO?

Perry’s is Provincetown’s premier wine shop, an institution since 1934, in the heart of the historic and beautiful West End. We purvey an incredible selection of fine wines, liquors, beers, artisan cheeses, organic meats and provisions, sourcing locally and globally to provide an unrivaled range, from incredible unknown gems right through to the world’s greatest brands.

WHY do WE DO IT?

In an increasingly hectic, pressured and 24/7 world, Provincetown became our happy place, where we would come to disconnect, relax, eat, drink and be merry. We want everyone to have this same experience, so at Perry’s we work (along with many other incredible businesses and people), with one goal in mind; to play a part in making Provincetown the best place on earth for those who visit and live here.

Anyone who has been here knows the role that great food and great drinks play in making Provincetown the place it is; whether it’s a summer’s al-fresco dinner with friends, a balmy day on the beach, or a cozy winter evening in front of the fire. With this in mind we like to think of ourselves as the oil that greases the very best moments of Provincetown living. Everything we put on our shelves is here because we love the product and the story behind it. We hope you do too.

wHO ARE we?

Meet Charlie (left), Billy (right) and Pickle (the white furry one).

We first met on a round-the-world yacht race in 2004 that made a stop in Boston coming up from Cape Town. It was during this stopover that we were recommended to visit Provincetown, and we never stopped coming back. During our frequent visits from London over the years, we became customers of Perry’s, and friends with the previous owners, Tom and Scott. The rest is history.

Both of us come from a fairly international, business-oriented background. Billy is half American, half Mexican (and now has a UK passport after 17 years living in Europe) with a background in finance, retail efficiency & management consultancy where he ran his own business in London. Charlie is English, and has worked in marketing for global beauty and spirits brands over the past 15 years, throughout Europe and Latin America. We both spent the past 2 years living in Mexico City, and Charlie continues to move back and forth to Provincetown from home in London. Pickle is the latest addition to the family. Rescued from Alabama, she’s now learning the ropes of being a full time shop dog.
